In St.Xavier Province we have 2 Children’s Home namely Nagapattinam, and Chettiyapatti. Due to the lockdown children are at home but the most poor and orphan chidren are in the home. Sisters are showing motherly care and taking care of them well. In Nagapattinam 17 girls are there and in Chettiyapetti 12 girls at present out of 94 children.
Children Parliament:
Young children are future leaders who have to uphold the democratic values Sisters are also involving in the Children’s Parliament work. Children are given holistic development and care by the sisters even in this COVID 19 Pandemic. Sisters become second parent to children and take full responsibility of the children who are under their care.
