We the DMIs are happy to serve for the poor and downtrodden in six districts in St. Xavier Province. We have initiated various activities to strengthen women federations from hamlet level to district level. This report here summarizes the activities carried out during the year 2021.
The best way to find yourself is to lose themselves in the service of others according to this words, the sisters from our Province involving in the women development ministry in 6 districts namely in Nagai, Dindigul, Perambalur, Salem, Pudukottai, and Sivagangai.
Women Development mission is to help people to develop their full potential, enrich their lives, and prevent dysfunction. It is the integration of women into various economic activities by improving their status and assisting in total development. Various women development activities had taken place in the St. Xavier Province for the past 4 month though there is lockdown and Covid pandemic, our sisters involved effectively in their mission guided by Sr. Viji, Sr. Mary Jehani and Sr. Rengis.
